#Nishi & Snowy or as we called her Tamanna’s baby no 1,2,3,4,5Our baby girl Snowy passed away earlier this week. We had to take the tough call of relieving her from her pain. Why would a Dog so young suddenly become so sick, we don’t know? Maybe it was the monsoon, maybe her own immunity was low but overnight Snowy showed signs of Jaundice and was suspected for leptospirosis along with other complications to her liver and kidney. Snowy was only 11 months old and had a charming personality. Volunteers would have a tough time identifying each of the puppies as they all were identical and hence they were given the names of Tamanna’s (their mom) baby no. 1,2,3,4,5. All you needed to do was to park your scooter and have Snowy and her siblings climb into the vehicle for ride. If you passed by the road then you would find 5 identical puppies vying for your attention. Snowy lived on an open estate and was taken care of by Nishi who ensured that all dogs were well taken care of, fed regularly and received timely medical attention. This is a small tribute to the short but joy filled life of Snowy and the dedication of her caretaker Nishi.
